Our Mission
We help young adults from the ages of 13-25 become environmental activists and published authors. Young authors choose a UN Sustainable Development Goal focused on protecting nature, partner with a nonprofit, and write a book to learn about and raise awareness for an environmental issue.

Authors for Nature uses a video course and experienced mentors to help young authors create and publish books!
We help promote your book through speaking engagements, book readings, book signings, social media announcements, and writing as a guest blogger for nonprofits.

The Authors for Nature program gives you a tried-and-true book making process which our founder, Kelsey Sweetland, has learned through creating and publishing four environmental children's books.
We remove all the hassle of publishing–just create your book and we take care of the rest! We aim to streamline your creation and publishing so you have the freedom to make the book and impact you always dreamed of.

I'm Kelsey Sweetland!
I am 18 years old, an environmental advocate, a four-time published author, and the founder of Authors for Nature.
When I was 12, I started writing environmental children's books to bring awareness to the many pressing environmental issues animals, ecosystems, and our planet face today.
With Authors for Nature, I hope to empower the next generation to become knowledgable environmental advocates and published authors who use writing and art for environmental change.
By joining our community, you join a group of motivated people who are authors, parents, students, nonprofit employees, and more who all aligned with one belief: that we can make a difference and help our planet.
